Bridges
Referrals
Referrals can come from physicians, health care professionals, nursing care facilities, retirement centers, or family members. A physician referral is not necessary for an in-home assessment to be performed. A free confidential assessment can be scheduled at no cost in the person's home, at the hospital, or in a nursing home. If admission is appropriate, it will be done under the supervision of a licensed, board-certified psychiatrist.
