Spinal cord rehabilitation is an intricate and complicated process that requires a team of experts to enhance the patient's abilities to lead a productive, independent life.

Your team will include a doctor who specializes in physical medicine (physiatrist) and may also include a physical therapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation nurse, rehabilitation psychologist, social worker, dietitian and recreation therapist.

Based on a patient's limitations, our interdisciplinary team establishes an individualized treatment plan. Each plan of care incorporates specific methods that encourage the patient to develop pragmatic problem-solving approaches appropriate for his or her rehabilitation and continuing care.
