NRH's Unique Approach

At NRH, we develop highly personalized programs to meet a variety of rehabilitation needs. Rehabilitation is a complex process that varies from patient to patient.

Our interdisciplinary team of highly skilled health care professionals works hand-in-hand with the patient and family to develop realistic rehabilitation goals that can be achieved in a reasonable period of time. These team members include a rehabilitation nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, therapeutic recreation specialist, medical social worker, nutritionist and pharmacist. They are led by physicians who are trained to treat specific problems related to illness and injuries that result in disability.

Each patient is also provided a certified case manager who serves as a liaison for the patient, family, treatment team, referral source and payer. The case manager oversees the patient's plan of care and is responsible for discharge planning.
